How to Get Rid of Roaches in the BedroomA cockroach in the bedroom is the freakiest of all. Why? You sleep there. There are countless people that go to bed with cotton stuffed up their nose and ears. Don't laugh! It's true. Do you want something crawling on you while you sleep? This really freaks people out. Just don't go to bed with food on your face.Rules for the BedroomLook, if you have roaches make some rules for yourself.Rule #1- Don't eat or drink in the bedroom; EVER. If you eat in the bedroom and watch television, you will have food and water there. The roaches super sensitive antennae will pick up on your tasty treats. Now, if you are one of those moms that hides cookies under the bed so the kids don't snarf them all, don't do it, that's a bad practice because now you are sharing them with those unlovable critters. And, don't fool yourself into thinking that you are so clean. The tiniest of crumbs or a water cup left unattended is all it takes. One pregnant roach can give live birth right there in the bedroom and now you are in for a real problem. Rule #2- Keep things picked up. Roaches need places to hide. If you leave clothing on the floor, you will notice them in your clothing hiding. They also like to be under the bed. So, if you have millions of things under the bed, it's a good idea to clean it up. You could always put a light under your bed to keep them out of there. Rule #3- The roaches are most likely coming from the attached master bathroom. Make sure and treat the bathroom area and leave the light on while you sleep. Good News about Getting Rid of Roaches in the BedroomRoaches are not typically in the bedroom that much. This only happens in pretty poor conditions. Still, if you don't take care of the problem, they will eventually come to this part of your home. A good place to place bait in the bedroom is in the master bathroom (ok, not really the bedroom). You can also take off outlet covers and place bait there. This is out of the way and works well. You can put bait under the bed, but then I don't like the idea of roaches having lunch there. It's not usually a good idea to just smear bait all over your baseboards as some people do. The roaches will find your bait in more inconspicuous places. Don't forget, MRF 2000 roach paste is the best thing to use.
